 |
Lee Shaffer - Albuquerque, NM
In
1999, the organization that was promoting Natural
Bodybuilding in NM pulled out. After
some discussion with other competitors,
a quest began to find another
organization to fill the void.
Lee competed in three different
organizations' shows to get a feel for how they operated.
The first was a disappointment and failure; he vowed
not to let that organization in. Lee picked the ANBC
after the three experiences, and
after a lengthy discussion with the ANBC
President. He felt he could do a
better job than the first organization's show he sampled, and decided to promote a show himself. His
first show was in 2000, and
each year's event grows
bigger and better while always
keeping the competitors in
mind. In 2005, Lee started promoting OCB
events because of what they
had to offer the Bodybuilding, Figure and Fitness
competitors. |

see if he could offer shows that were fairer and more rewarding to

Brian started competing in 2003. He instantly fell in love with
bodybuilding. After the Marines he started studying Exercise Science
in college in Bloomsburg Penn. He competed in a show promoted by

Brian became the Iron Club President at Bloomsburg University (BU)
and he thought it would be great to have a show there. He wanted to
show everyone that bodybuilding is not all drugs and steroids and
wanted to show the students at BU that one doesn't need steroids to
look good. So with the Mike Halsey's guidance and club advisor
Donald Young's (no relation) assistance with securing resources from
the University, Brian produced his first contest in 2006 and has
been doing so ever since. He donates proceeds from his show to
