Future Goals:
To continue to do well as I compete against myself to be the best I
can be at each competition. I'd like to try my hand against the pros
sometime in 2007. I'd also like to try to bring more women back to
bodybuilding and help others to see that there is still beauty in a
woman with muscle, and that the natural female body builder is far
from what you see in the 'roid' mags; we are still feminine,
attractive and strong at the same time.
Tina's Tips:
Find someone to help you if you are just starting out. Find a
professional that can help you with training and diet. There is so
much involved in this sport and taking some of the guess work out of
it can be a huge advantage. Do your homework and find someone you
can trust. You must be strong willed and strong minded, this sport
requires a huge amount of tenacity, dedication, will and time.
Nothing comes easy in bodybuilding, there are no shortcuts or quick
fixes; but remember, if it was easy, everyone would do it. When you
make it to the stage, have fun. But remember, compete against
yourself, no one else. You can only control the package that you
bring to the stage; you will never be able to control who else will
show up that day or what the judges will see. You will be a winner
if you continually try to outdo yourself and you are winner just for
making it to that stage!
Additional info:
I have to thank my husband here, because without him I could not do
well in this sport. He is my rock. The fact that we share a passion
for bodybuilding makes all the hard work worthwhile.
